Bad Homburger Sommer

The “Bad Homburger Sommer” takes place each summer in Bad Homburg over the space of two weeks. This year it starts on 30th June and finishes with a big firework display on 15th July.

There are open-air film showings, concerts in the park, games and participation-theatres for children and even a flea market.

Most of the events are free to the public as they are sponsored by local businesses, although there are a few ticketed events – but even they have reasonable prices.

Here are some of the highlights:

  • Nachttheater im Schloss – Die drei Musketiere
  • Hexenzauber in Ober-Erlenbach
  • Sommernachtsball (kostenpflichtig)
  • Flohmarkt im Kurpark
  • Kinder-Lieder-Mitmach-Theater “Pitsch, Patsch, Pinguin”
  • Open Air Kino: Charlie und die Schokoladenfabrik
  • Kurpark in Flammen
