No U-Bahn trains in Oberursel on Monday

U-Bahn trains at the Hohemark terminus in OberurselLocal train operators VGF have announced that members of the union ver.di are planning to go on strike on Monday, 5th March, 2012.

This will probably affect the U-Bahn and tram networks as well as some bus routes.

Although they are not sure if some trains will be running, they have said that even if that is the case these will probably be very full and have asked travellers to make alternative arrangements.

In Oberursel, for example, the U3 will probably be out of service for the whole day, but the S-Bahn (S5) will still be running.
