Limited U-Bahn service in Frankfurt

The U3 line to Frankfurt will be operating a reduced service at the weekend to allow for work on the track to take place near the tunnel entrance at “Dornbusch”.

From Friday, 5th April, 2013 at 9.30pm the trains will terminate at Heddernheim, and will continue to do so throughout Saturday and Sunday.  Buses replace the trains between Heddernheim and Eschenheimer Tor, from where a shuttle service will be in operation on the line to Südbahnhof.

Passengers should allow extra time for their journey or switch to other routes, such as the S-Bahn line S5 to get from Oberursel to the centre of Frankfurt.

Normal service should be resumed on Monday morning.
