An accident at the corner of the Frankfurter Landstraße and Ludwig-Erhard-Straße last Thursday afternoon (22nd August, 2013) left several people injured.
After several cars had already stopped at a set of traffic lights, an 82-year-old man was approaching the queue in a Mercedes car when his foot slid off the brake pedal, causing the car to hit the Peugeot in front of him.
This was shunted onto a Renault Twingo, which in turn hin an Opel Vectra.
The drivers of the Mecedes, Renault, Opel and a passenger in the Renault were slightly injured.
The total damage is estimated at €13,000.
The Verbraucherzentrale (consumers’ association) will be offering individual energy saving consultations in the Rathaus in Oberursel on Thursday,5th September, 2013.
