Tuesday night is film night at Bluebox Portstraße, located near the U-Bahn stop “Altstadt”.
As the organisation is not a commercial cinema, they are not allowed to advertise which film will be shown in advance. For Tuesday, 24th June, 2014, we are told that it will be a “coming of age film”. If you do want to know which film will be shown then call 06171 636930 and they will tell you.
The showing starts at 9pm.

Are the films at the Bluebox typically in English or German? Both? My German is still rather awful. It would be good to have another English language option in the area. Thanks.
The films are in German unless otherwise stated. But the Bluebox is cheap compared to other cinemas in the area, so maybe it’s a good place to go to practise hearing German? Maybe you can take someone along to help you understand the film if necessary?
