The Seniorentreff in Oberursel will be holding a Stammtisch on Friday, 20th March, 2015 between 5pm and 8.30pm in the “Altes Hospital” (Hospitalstraße 9).
The Stammtisch is a place to discuss anything and everything that those attending wish to.
A charge of €7 per person will be made to cover the cost of food and drink.
Flea Market in the Adenauerallee

The monthly flea market in the Adenauerallee in Oberursel will take place on Saturday, 21st March, 2015 between 7am and 1pm.
The flea market starts at the end of the pedestrian zone and continues the length of the Adenauerallee and over the railway lines towards Bommersheim. One part also takes place in the Nassauer Straße next to the U-Bahn tracks.
To get there by train take either the line U3 or S5 to Oberursel’s main station.
Radio Play Workshop for children at the library

The library in Oberursel is offering children aged between 7 and 10 another chance to produce their own radio play with Monika Martino from hr3.
The workshop is being held on Thursday, 19th March, 2915 at 4pm in the library and will last around 90 minutes, during which the children will be recording the play and also the sound effects to accompany it.
Places cost €4 each and can be reserved in the library or by calling 06171 62870.
Bingo at the Seniorentreff

The Seniorentreff in Oberursel will be offering an afternoon of Bingo on Thursday, 19th March, 2015 between 2.30pm and 4.30pm in the “Altes Hospital” (Hospitalstraße 9).
Anyone who is interested is invited to come along and try their luck!
Zumba with Maxima at Café Portstrasse

“Girls only” is the motto at Café Portstrasse on Sunday, 22nd March, 2015 with not only the café open from 3pm until 6pm, but also a one-hour Zumba workshop with Maxima at 3pm.
The workshop is free for girls to take part in and comfortable clothing is recommended.
Energy saving advice

The Verbraucherzentrale (consumers’ association) will be offering individual energy saving consultations in the Rathaus in Oberursel on Thursday, 19th March, 2015.
Appointments cost €5 for 30 minutes, and €2.50 for each 15 minutes after that. They need to be arranged in advance by calling 06171 502-310.
Breakfast Cinema at Bluebox Portstrasse

Once a month the Bluebox Portstraße holds a Sunday morning breakfast buffet in their cinema.
As the organisation is not a commercial cinema, they are not allowed to advertise which film will be shown in advance. For Sunday, 22nd March, 2015, we are told that it will be about a British comedy. If you do want to know which film will be shown or to reserve tickets call 06171 636930.
The showing starts at 11.30am and they are located opposite the U-Bahn stop “Altstadt”.

The musikhalle portstrasse is holding a “Friday night Jam Session” on Friday, 20th March, 2015 at 8pm.
Entry is free.
The “musikhalle” is located opposite the U-Bahn station “Altstadt” on the U3 line.
Tuesday night cinema at Bluebox Portstraße

Tuesday night is film night at Bluebox Portstraße, located near the U-Bahn stop “Altstadt”.
