This coming weekend (11th/12th August, 2018) a host of football teams from around Europe will be coming to Oberursel to take part in the “Allianz U15 Cup against racism”.

On football pitches usually used by local teams from Eintracht Oberursel and Frankfurt International School, matches will take place between the following teams, including some of the best under-15 talent on the continent:

Chelsea FC, FC Porto, Tottenham Hotspurs, Glasgow Rangers, RSC Anderlecht, Slavia Prag and Red Star Belgrade

Bayern Munich, Schalke 04, VfL Wolfsburg, VfB Stuttgart, Eintracht Frankfurt, FSV Mainz, RB Leipzig and Hertha BSC

Both home teams will also be playing.

The non-profit event kicks off at 9.30am on Saturday with three matches being played simultaneously: two on the grounds in the Eichwäldchenweg and one at FIS.  One of the highlights will be the final match of the day at 6.15pm on the main field between Eintracht Oberursel and Bayern Munich.

After the group stage on Saturday, the competition continues on Sunday with the knock-out stage with the final match being played at 3.25pm.

Tickets each day cost €10,50 for adults, €5,25 for children between 4 and 14 years of and is free for children aged 3 and under.  Visitors with children should bring proof of age with them.  Tickets are valid at both locations.

Parking is very limited, so if possible visitors should come by public transport, with the U-Bahn stops “Kupferhammer” (for the Eintracht pitch) and “Hohemark” (for the FIS pitch) the closest.
