The Verbraucherzentrale (consumers’ association) will be offering individual energy saving consultations in the Rathaus in Oberursel on Thursday, 6th December 2018.
Appointments cost €5 for 30 minutes, and €2.50 for each 15 minutes after that. They need to be arranged in advance by calling 06171 502-310.

The Christmas Market in Oberursel was opened on Thursday, 29th November, 2018 by Mayor Hans-Georg Brum, Town Treasurer Thorsten Schorr, along with Fountain Queen Anna-Lena I. and her Brunnenmeister Herbert.
There will be a book flea market in Oberursel’s library on Saturday, 1st December, 2018, between 10am and 1pm with proceeds going to the library’s supporters’ association.
The library is located at one end of the market square in Oberursel, in the Eppsteinerstraße.
The nearest car parks are “Bleiche” and in the Holzweg. The nearest train station is Altstadt (U3).
A tour of the old town (Altstadt) part of Oberursel is being offered on Saturday, 1st December, 2018 at 2pm.
The tour starts in front of the Vortaunusmuseum at the Marktplatz at 2pm and costs €3 per person.
Friday night is music night at Musikhalle Portstraße, located near the U-Bahn stop “Altstadt”.
On Friday, 30th November 2018, another “Newcomer TV Night” is being held.
Doors open at 8pm for a 8.30pm start and entry costs €2.

A 3,000 step walk for senior citizens is taking place in Stierstadt on Tuesday, 27th November 2018.
To take part, be at the bus stop “Altes Rathaus” in Stierstadt at 3pm.
The Seniorentreff in the “Altes Hospital” (Hospitalstraße 9) will be holding a breakfast buffet on Friday, 23rd November 2018 between 9am and 10.30am, with food and drink costing €6 per person.
