The Seniorentreff in Oberursel will be offering a 3,000 step walk on Wednesday, 21st November 2018.
To take part, be at the Christuskirche in the Oberhöchstädter Straße at 3pm.
The monthly flea market in the Adenauerallee in Oberursel will take place on Saturday, 17th November, 2018 between 7am and 1pm.
The flea market starts at the end of the pedestrian zone and continues the length of the Adenauerallee and over the railway lines towards Bommersheim. One part also takes place in the Nassauer Straße next to the U-Bahn tracks.
To get there by train take either the line U3 or S5 to Oberursel’s main station.
The musikhalle portstrasse is holding a “Friday night Jam Session” on Friday, 16th November, 2018, at 8pm.
Entry is free.
The “musikhalle” is located opposite the U-Bahn station “Altstadt” on the U3 line.
Tuesday night is film night at Bluebox Portstraße, located near the U-Bahn stop “Altstadt”.
As the organisation is not a commercial cinema, they are not allowed to advertise which film will be shown in advance. For Tuesday, 13th November, 2018, we are told that it will be a drama. If you do want to know which film will be shown then call 06171 636930 and they will tell you.

A 3,000 step walk for senior citizens is taking place in Stierstadt on Tuesday, 13th November 2018.
To take part, be at the bus stop “Altes Rathaus” in Stierstadt at 3pm.
The bluebox portstrasse will be showing a film for children aged 4 and over on Friday, 9th November , 2018 at 2.30pm. As it is not a commercial cinema, they are not allowed to advertise which film will be shown in advance. If you do want to know which film will be shown then call 06171 636930 and they will tell you.
Entry costs €2 per child, with free entry for one accompanying adult.
The bluebox is located opposite the U-Bahn station “Altstadt” (formerly “Portstraße”).
Blood can be donated at the Red Cross in Oberursel on Friday, 9th November 2018 between 3.30pm and 8pm. However the usual location is not available at present, so the donation centre will be set up at the Taunushalle in Oberstedten. To get there, either take Bus route 41 or set satellite navigation devices to “Landwehr 6”.
To donate you must be healthy and between 18 and 68 years of age. If you have not donated before, then you must not be over 60. You must take some form of identification with you, such as a passport, that contains a photo.

A tour of the old town (Altstadt) part of Oberursel is being offered on Saturday, 3rd November 2018 at 2pm.
The tour starts in front of the Vortaunusmuseum at the Marktplatz at 2pm and costs €3 per person.
There will be a book flea market in Oberursel’s library on Saturday, 3rd November, 2018, between 10am and 1pm with proceeds going to the library’s supporters’ association.
The library is located at one end of the market square in Oberursel, in the Eppsteinerstraße.
The nearest car parks are “Bleiche” and in the Holzweg. The nearest train station is Altstadt (U3).
