Hunting for Easter Eggs at home on Sunday is part of the German tradition at Easter. But there are two public hunts taking place over the weekend in the town as well:
The TaunaBad will be opening up their lawns between 9.30am and 12 noon on Sunday (5th April, 2015) for children to hunt for eggs which they can exchange for sweets, the pool itself does not open until 10am but there will be coffee available in the foyer.
The local branch of the SPD will be organising a hunt at Camp King on Monday (6th April, 2015) for children up to the age of 10. To take part be at the rondell next to the Waldorf School at 11am. The areas to search in are divided up into three age groups, and in addition to the chocolate goodies each area contains a wooden egg which can be exchanged for a prize.
