The “Allianz U15 Cup against racism” took place in Oberursel at the weekend with 18 teams competing against each other in a series of matches.
Saturday morning started off with the news that flight scheduled to bring Tottenham Hotspur’s team to Frankfurt had been cancelled and so local team FV Stierstadt stepped in at the last minute to allow the matches to take place. This coming weekend (11th/12th August, 2018) a host of football teams from around Europe will be coming to Oberursel to take part in the “Allianz U15 Cup against racism”.
On football pitches usually used by local teams from Eintracht Oberursel and Frankfurt International School, matches will take place between the following teams, including some of the best under-15 talent on the continent:
Chelsea FC, FC Porto, Tottenham Hotspurs, Glasgow Rangers, RSC Anderlecht, Slavia Prag and Red Star Belgrade
Bayern Munich, Schalke 04, VfL Wolfsburg, VfB Stuttgart, Eintracht Frankfurt, FSV Mainz, RB Leipzig and Hertha BSC
