A telescope into the past at the burial mound opposite the U-Bahn Station Hohemark in Oberursel

This burial mound is located at the start of the Celtic trail, opposite the terminus of the U-Bahn line “U3” from Frankfurt.  The “telescope into the past” seen in front of it allows the visitor to see what the inside of the mound would look like.

The telescopes “into the past” give an idea of what the area would have looked like in Celtic times, where a reconstruction would be not possible.  This telescope shows what the inside of a burial mound would have looked like.
