Saturday, 9th May, 2015 saw the annual spring festival of the choral society “Germania 1873” in Weißkirchen take place with a new idea: in the sports hall of the TV Weißkirchen the stage had been decorated with flowers, but the singers were not standing on it. Jazz meets Gospel at the Hessentag in Oberursel on Monday, 13th June at 7.30pm in the Liebfrauenkirche.
The evening features Christoph Schönherr with “Magnificat”, Robert Ray with “Gospel Mass” and the Choir “Tontauben” from Oberursel-Weißkirchen conducted by Mark Opeskin.
The Church “Liebfrauenkirche” is located in the Berliner Straße, half way between the U-Bahn stations “Altstadt” and “Stadtmitte”.
