The 13th Ritterturnier (Jousting competition) and Mittelalter Markt (Middle Ages market) is being held at the castle in Königstein between the 3rd and 5th of June 2011.

Tickets cost €10 per person, with children up to the age of 16 free if accompanied by an adult.

Königstein is easily reached by train from Frankfurt (Line R12) and the castle stands on a hill above the main shopping area.
