Local health advisor Christa Hein will be talking about the herbal plants (Kräuter) and berries (Beeren) growing in the area called the Hintertaunus during a walk through that part of the countryside on Saturday, 10th September 2011 (in German).
The walk cost €25 per person and anyone interested should register in advance by calling 06171 703870.
Between 1940 and 1990 approximately 70,000 people visited or were stationed at Camp King (Dulag Luft) in Oberursel.
On Thursday, 24th March, 2011 Manfred Kopp will be holding a talk where he will introduce 8 of those people using photos and texts.
The talk is at the Church meeting point “Aktiv im Norden” and starts at 7.30pm. Entry is free.
To get there by car, set your navigation equipment to “Im Rosengärtchen 37″ in Oberursel.
