To donate you must be healthy and between 18 and 68 years of age. If you have not donated before, then you must not be over 60. You must take some form of identification with you, such as a passport, that contains a photo.

The maze itself is open from 11am until 7pm. Entry costs €3.00 for adults, €2.50 for children aged 10 to 16 and €2.00 for children aged 4 to 9.

To get there by car, travel to the edge of Weißkirchen on the road to Steinbach. There is a track off the road near the yellow “Oberursel Stadtteil Weißkirchen” sign leading towards Frankfurt (ie. left if you have just driving through Weißkirchen, right if you are coming from Steinbach). The maze is about 200m along this track.

If you are coming by train, the nearest station “Weißkirchen-Steinbach” is on the S5 line between Frankfurt and Bad Homburg.

Potato Day at the Maize Maze

The Maize Maze in WeißkirchenThe Maislabyrinth – a maze made out of maize – will be holding a Potato Day on Sunday, 23rd September, 2018.  There will be potatoes to pick and potato dishes on the menu.

The maze itself from 11am until 7pm. Entry costs €3.00 for adults, €2.50 for children aged 10 to 16 and €2.00 for children aged 4 to 9.

To get there by car, travel to the edge of Weißkirchen on the road to Steinbach. There is a track off the road near the yellow “Oberursel Stadtteil Weißkirchen” sign leading towards Frankfurt (ie. left if you have just driving through Weißkirchen, right if you are coming from Steinbach). The maze is about 200m along this track.

Kräutertag at the Maize Maze

The Maize Maze in WeißkirchenThe Maislabyrinth – a maze made out of maize – will be holding a Kräutertag (herb day) on Sunday, 9th September, 2018.

One of the highlights of the day will be the traditional Frankfurt green sauce, served with eggs and potatotes.  There will also be a storyteller for children.

St.Crutzen Fountain inaugurated

This morning, Saturday, 26th May, 2018, the St.Crutzen-Brunnen in Weißkirchen, located in a courtyard next to the church, was inaugurated by Fountain Queen Anna-Lena I. and her Brunnenmeister Herbert, who were accompanied by a number of their predecessors.

The fountain was originally inaugurated on 30th May 1999, but only now has it been dedicated to one of the Fountain Queens. The large sphere represents the Universe.

Car scratched in Weißkirchen

The driver’s side of a VW Passat was scratched some time between 5.30pm on Tuesday, 2nd January and 5.15am on Wednesday, 3rd January, 2018. The car had been left on a car park in “An der Kreuzwiese” in Weißkirchen. The damage caused is estimated to be worth around €1000.
Police in Oberursel are asking witnesses to call them on 06171 62400
